AGNISWARI CHIT FUNDS (P) LTD ("Company", "we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy and is dedicated to protecting the personal and financial information of our subscribers, mobile app users, and agents. This policy explains our data practices in full compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, and Google Play Store Developer Guidelines.

1. Information We Collect

In order to provide statutory financial services under the Chit Funds Act, 1982, we collect:

Personal Identity Data: Full legal name, date of birth, father's/spouse's name, residential address, email address, and mobile phone number.
Statutory KYC Documents: Government-issued identifiers (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID), passport photos, and signature specimens required by the Chit Registrar.
Financial & Transaction Data: Bank account details (account number, IFSC code) for prize disbursals, UPI transaction reference numbers, payment receipts, and monthly ledger balance.
Technical & App Usage Data: Device model, operating system version, Firebase Cloud Messaging token for push notifications, and IP address for secure login validation.

2. Purpose of Data Processing

We process your data strictly for legitimate financial service purposes:

To register and verify subscriber membership with the Tamil Nadu Chit Registrar.
To facilitate live reverse auction participation and live bid tracking.
To process monthly installment payments and disburse prize money via direct bank transfer.
To dispatch automated SMS notifications, receipt links, and monthly auction statements.
To detect, prevent, and mitigate financial fraud, defaults, and identity theft.

3. Strict Prohibition Against Selling User Data

We do NOT sell, rent, trade, or lease subscriber personal or financial data to any third-party advertisers, lead brokers, or marketing networks. Your data is accessed solely by authorized Agniswari Chit Funds staff and authorized banking partners strictly for executing chit operations.

4. Data Storage, Security & Retention

All communications between our mobile apps and backend servers are encrypted using TLS 1.3 / SSL 256-bit encryption.
Data is stored in ISO 27001-certified Indian data centers meeting Reserve Bank of India and CERT-In compliance standards.
In compliance with financial regulations under the Chit Funds Act 1982, transaction records are retained for the statutory period mandated by law.

5. User Rights & Account Deletion

Subscribers have the right to inspect their passbook history, request correction of inaccurate contact details, and request deletion of their digital app access once all chit commitments and accounts are fully settled. For deletion requests, contact our privacy desk.
